• To create that soft watercolor look in the background! I mixed water and Mister Huey and used an eye dropper to apply it to the watercolor paper. After a while I blotted it with some paper towel. I kept building up layers in this fashion until I was satisfied with the look.
• The sequins are from the sequin ribbon. I simply pulled them off and glued them down.
• To create the patterned tape at the top of the photo I did a simple tape transfer: apply the tape to patterned paper and then soak in water. The paper will peel away and leave the design behind in a transparent format.
