I took this shot of my 11 month old niece in her Halloween costume (a ghost). She can't walk on her own yet but she loves to climb stairs so I went with it :) Don't worry, her mama was right behind her just in case!

what were your settings with this lens? this looks pretty crisp for indoors, so i'm betting you're shutter speed was pretty much right on.
i love this shot! the tutu is AWESOME and the angle you shot it at really plays that up. I would love it more if she was looking at you (the lens) - something to consider in the future (and i know its hard to think of when you are just candid snapping) - at this age i will usually hold a toy that makes noise over my lens and jingle it or whatever to get them to look - OR sing a song that they love to engage them.
your processing looks great! only thing i might add is more of a vignette around the edge to draw the eye in.
