So Very Grateful
For NSD Scrapbook Challenge #1 & Project Life Challenge #2. I built a bunch of layers with paper scraps, stickers, wood veneer, washi, and a pocket envelope. I used mist and the chevron arrow mask on some smaller scraps of paper since I'm still learning how to use them so didn't want to risk spraying all over my page. I love how the pattern turned out (I sprayed on one end of the paper and blotted the mask on the other end so it gets a sort of fade dark to light effect) and used a piece as one of the top layers in my stack of patterned paper. Then the pocket gave me the idea to have stars spilling out, showing overflowing with happiness about my subject :)
This page is about my husband & travel companion; given how important travel is to each of us, it's been so great to find out how well we travel together & what compatible travel styles we have (in fact, we probably wouldn't have gotten married if that weren't the case!). Journaling is inspired by Shimelle's NSD Challenges to write the journaling as a letter, and to scrapbook a gratitude topic (www.shimelle.com).
