Ever wanted to print a video?

I know we talk a lot about printers here on SC - printing photos goes hand in hand with memory keeping! So when we came across the new Prynt Pocket, we knew it was something we wanted to carry.

Portable printers are definitely not something new. You may even already have one! But the Prynt takes it all up a notch with some seriously Harry Potter level wizardry. You can print a still from a video on your phone, then scan it with an app and it will play it - right there on your page. Check it out here :

I had a chance to give the new Prynt Pocket a try and used the photos for a layout. These prints are sized 2x3in - which is one of my favorite sizes for a multi photo layout.

Here's where the magic happens - when you scan a video. Please excuse the quality of this video - it isn't easy to balance a dSLR while trying to hold an iphone to show off how the app works. ;) The video that plays on your iphone screen is 100% the quality of any video that you play on your phone.

To make all of this even cooler - we have a special preorder offer, where you'll get an extra 40 pack of paper AND free shipping. To anywhere. =) (This special offer ends on August 28th - don't miss out!) Check it out at the links below!

Can you print the photos taken with the Prynt app on any regular photo paper, and still have it "scan" them as videos?

@shayneb - i don't believe so. the pyrnt adds a small icon to each photo, and I believe it uses that to identify the photo / video.

Can you just print, no video, like the Polaroid Zip?
