Our Beautiful Girl

This is my take on one of the sketches provided over at Studio Calico. I liked the layout of the sketch, but not really the hexagons on the sketch. So I made mine squares, and used bits of Simple Stories Fabulous papers. I also added the various elements from the papers, like the peace sign and the girl image. I used some small stickers for OUR and then some fun new American Crafts Thickers for the BEAUTIFUL, and hand wrote the GIRL.

I also thought I’d add some some adhesive buttons to the various squares on the page. Most of the supplies came from my Memory Works Kit, with the exception of the Thickers and some of the papers. The cloud paper is Echo Park.
I used some of my old stand by black stickers for McKinley’s name and my date stamp from Project Life
