NEON power
When the weather is hot and all pastel, springly colours are gone the necessity of vibrant palette is growing. I decided to show you how you can use the neon, trendy shades on your layouts. I collected some bright yellows, pinks and cyans from various Studio Calico collections, and prepared a simple white cardstock as a base of my project.
I took an old library card (you can alsso use a piece of newspaper or a page from an old book) and I painted it using Studio Calico special neon edition mini Mister Huey's mists i two colours: yellow and pink. I use these mists as a liquid watercolours.
Next I add more neon shades on the already sticked elements like: vellum frame, photos, papers, base... I make some little splatters and some messy doodlings using the inner part of the mist. I sticked the emebellishements, stickers, added buttons, alphabet stickers and die cuts. I aslo used some pieces of neon washi tapes here and there. When everything was dry I added some stamps and my layout was ready. I hope you will have a lot of fun creating neon and other vibrant projects. I would like to find them here, in SC gallery! :)
