Weekly Challenge | Use Die Cuts

This week, our member Eyoung (username EyoungLee), is challenging you to pull out those die cuts or use your Silhouette to create die cut titles! Our members are so talented and we love seeing your work in the gallery! Check back each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Be sure visit Eyoung to see more of her work and keep up with her!

Hi there. This is Eyoung. I'm so excited to share my favorite layout as a weekly challenge. I used a patterned paper ('High Rise' from Carolina Moon kit) and cut file titles for this layout. I'm a daily photographer. So,I discover the world through my camera lense!!! :) What's your way how to discover your world? I chose a word cut file for a title and re-sized it into 3 or 4 different sized. And I used different-sized word cut files repeatedly on this layout. So, what's my challenge to you?? Use some cut files repeatedly on your project. Words, shapes, patterns, numbers, signs, backgrounds... There are so many cut files. You choose one or two cut file and use them repeatedly on your next projects.(layout, cards, pocket pages, mini albums and so on) Thank you so much for joining me today and I really look forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Now it’s your turn to create a project based on Eyoung's challenge! Share your new project for the challenge in the SC gallery (add the hashtag #SCchallenge to make it easier to find!), then link up your project in the comments of this post by July 5th and to be entered to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop! This week's challenge winner will be announced in the July 11th Layout of the Week post.

I don't use my Silhouette, but I used my manual die cut machine for a repeating "Congrats" and also individual alphas to spell "grad." http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/168877-grad-mini-album-pages
