OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! First of all, it just jumped right out at me from the gallery! Your tree is so detailed and gorgeous!!!! Secondly, I LOVE what your journaling says, and I echoe your sentiments - I have agonized about this for years too. I have always felt bad at the end of the season when I start seeing the real trees discarded outside. When I got married I inherited my hubby and stepkids tradition of getting real trees, but it still bothers me. Thanks for sharing! - Michelle |

Thank you for this page! We have to use artificial trees because of family allergies, but i love to ponder whether my choices are good for our world. This one i don't know the answer to - I have family members who are responsible nursery owners, and their cultivation practices improve the land. Some trees have to be culled to allow others to grow well. So hard to decide... So i'm just going to revel in your wonderful page! |

Wonderful page!!! :)
I have mixed feelings on this. So many of the artificial tree's end up in the land fill too, which is bad, bad.
Now if you buy a real tree from a responsible tree farmer, well, think of all the good that tree did in it's life. If everyone had an artificial tree, there would be no tree farmers, and their land would not be producing as much good oxygen right??? :)
