Can you see my misting mask?
I made this layout for the challenge in the 2nd lesson of the Stretch Your Kit class with Amy! I created my own misting mask using my Cricut and filling a 12x12 page with the same image. I used this as 2 masks - first I pushed out each little plane and used the remaining sheet to mist with clay. Then I put each little plane over where I just sprayed with clay and misted in bonny blue, a bit more towards the top and less towards the bottom!
I also tried hand stitching for the first time and stitched around the Amy Tangerine stamp, around the edge of the paper and for the title! I love stitching now! (Special thanks to Kinsey for showing me how to get started on her blog!)
Finally, I had to remember Amy's suggestion in the first lesson to use your favorite paper... I asked my husband hesitantly, if I should use that map paper and when his reply was "I would say yes except I know how much you love that paper..." I reluctantly decided to go for it! I am slowly overcoming this hoarding habit we all seem to have :)

Love it! I'm glad you showed the mask and handstitching up close - really great!
Turned out great! I love the handstitching around the stamp!
this is fantastic! loving all the details and the fact that you used your favorite paper!
how perfect is this!? LOVE!
Thanks!! This class has been so inspiring! :)
Your mask is great and the handstitched tag is so sweet. Great layout!
Neat idea. It works well. Lovely LO.
Ok, when I saw that tag I thought - Did Amy come out with some tags I don't know about??? ;) Awesome page and I may or may not steal the stitching idea....
LOVE this page you created using ideas from the class. :) That plane mask is perfect! LOVE the stitching on the tag.
You inspire me to get going...
I love your stitching. The title great and the little plane is just wonderful! :-))
I really must try some stitching on my layouts, too! :-))
