Tutorial: Creative Uses for the Pop Art Scratch Off Paper | Maggie Massey

Pop Art Main Scrapbook Kit

I started by scratching off a number of the polkies on the page...I wanted to find a few phrases that would fit with the photo I was scrapping.

Next I punched out my favorite sentiments...simple as that! Now I had some fantastic embellishments to use on my layout.
I really wanted to use the plus-sign transparency specialty paper from the Warhol Add-On, but I wasn't sure how to do it. After spending some time pushing some other patterned papers and cardstock around with the vellum, I decided to do something a little different. I cut up some white cardstock into stripes and adhered them over the vellum with my sewing maching. I really like this look!

Next I decided where to place my photo...

after that came my embellishments...first my scratch-off dots, then the circle transparencies from the Main Kit. And finally, some stamping & ink drops.

I LOVE the way these dots look on this page!

eautiful script underneath just looks so cool to me. And I love that I still have some left to use on other projects...
Thanks so much for walking through this layout with me! I can't wait to see what you guys do with this fantastic paper!

Here is a little "cheat sheet" for the scratch off paper (so there's no guessing what is where)! Use the whole paper or punch them out like Maggie! However you use them, the result will be fabulous!
