Project Life : Week 6

I experimented with adding my journaling, both long and short, directly to my photos this week. I fit in a little collage of photos of my goofy girl dancing in front of the tv, stamped with phrases from the Amy Tangerine roller stamp from Tink.

I also made a flip up from my husband's weekend trip to Chicago. The photo of the car in the top right corner is on the outside of the page protector and when you flip it up, there's another photo inside (from Millenium Park) that is slipped in the page protector. I added some patterned paper from the card kit on the back side of the top photo and used the adorable "I love this city" wood tag to write a bit about their trip. The two photos are attached with some washi from the Project Life kit and the 'open' tab was made with the vellum strips in the Tink add-on.

And how cute is that little happy meal fry box? Just a little trimming and it fit perfectly in the 3x4 pocket. Also loving the "this week" card. I could easily use those every week!

This week : Feb 4 - 10 : I was beyond exhausted (for no known reason). We still managed to fit in a playdate with some new friends and took care of some car maintenance. My husband started the Couch to 5K program and he took a screenshot from his phone for me. He also went with his dad and brothers to Chicago for the Auto Show (and saved me the ticket). Smart guy!
