Tags:Hey, everyone! We are so excited to be hosting this online crop, and we hope you are too! We have a lot of fun planned, so this post will serve as the crop home base with links to everything that's going on.
We asked our Creative Team to come up with some fun challenges for you. We'll also have a sketch challenge and color/mood board challenge. We have a total of FOURTEEN challenges that will provide awesome inspiration for getting lots of projects done this weekend!
A winner will be chosen from each of the challenges to win a $10 promo code to use on any new purchase at studiocalico.com. AND, one lucky winner will receive a 3-month subscription to the kit of your choice! To have a chance at this amazing prize, enter ANY of our crop challenges below. Each and every challenge entry earns you another grand prize entry, so break out the paper and glue, and see how many you can complete!
All of our crop challenges are open until February 24th at 8am EST. You are free to combine challenges, just make sure to link them up on each one you complete! You can enter any sort of project in any of the challenges, so we hope you find something that inspires you! Here's a complete list of challenges.

When you complete a challenge, take a photo of your project, post it in the member gallery, and then link to your project on the appropriate challenge post. We'll announce the winners for all of the challenges on Monday, February 27th!

At first I thought I would do 1 or 2 challenges, but to my surprise I've done them all. I have tried new technique, uploaded projects in the gallery (first time ever, scary) and had a great time. So THANK YOU, SC!

I would love if this could become a regular event, seasonally, bimonthly or monthly.
I would also love if it could become a thread instead of a link. Too much clicking & eventually it will end up on page 12 of the thread, never to be seen again

Yes I'd love one spot to look and link it would be much faster to upload and possibly entice more to participate. It too me two hours to do the uploading and linking last night, totally worth it but I bet there is a more streamlined way :) (or maybe there is and it's just me hehe)
@WhamBamPam Yes to the regular event! But I have to admit that at first I thought it's a weird idea to have the challenges hosted on the blog but I have to say that I do like it now better than on the mb - reason for it it: you can enter the same project into various categories, this makes 1. scrolling through a thread long 2. you see the same project over and over (if actually scrolling through the threads) and 3. the likes/comments are no longer in 2 places (mb and gallery), so this way it's streamlined better - just my thoughts :)
@mugsie I do think the linking up it is tedious, especially if entering in various challenges. This could maybe be changed by a choice while uploading the project, like when uploading for a class @KellyNoel @gluestickgirl @SarahKH
That is true, I do like having it as a blog post as I don't go into the forum very often at all I'm a blog girl :)

Sadly, I didn't have time to complete all the challenges in the allotted time, but do have plans to still go back and complete them all! They inspired so much creativity and I absolutely LOVE each of the LO's I did complete. I would love, love, love for this to become a regular event!!

I was just wondering if anyone is having trouble downloading the printable? I hadn't downloaded it yet and am having issues downloading it. Maybe its not available anymore? Just checking if its me, the site or my computer :) Thanks!
