Crop Challenge | Add a Pocket with Morgan

Sometimes, whether it’s on my travels or in my daily life, I take WAAAYYYY too many pictures to fit in one spread, this is especially a problem now that I have my Instax camera. I want to use all of my photos but I also don’t want to dedicate a million pages to just one day. This issue reared its head a weekend or so ago when a friend took me to the most magical nursery ever on a day-trip to Nashville. I couldn’t help myself. I took a ton of photos, both on my phone and on my instax. I wanted to include them all in my journaling but hoooooww? Answer? Add a pocket! Mine is made out of printed-on tracing paper and taped into the seam of my Traveler’s Notebook.

My challenge to you is to create a pocket for your notebook to hold extra ephemera (polaroids, tickets, receipts, whatever!). When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See ALL of the crop challenges here.

I made a pocket for my page to house my ephemera and journaling. I made the pocket from two of the cards from the Documenter kit stitched together and then cut out a notch with a paper punch. I used it to tuck a vellum bag I embossed and my photo under. Fun!

Fantastic Idea! I cut in half to make two pockets. I used washi tape to close the first bottom. I do find this useful because I didn't remember I had those what I put in. I could have use yellow flower for last challenge! Thank you!

I don't keep a notebook, but I made a scrapbook page for my Tenerife album where I added a pocket to keep a map of the Island. Made the pocket by sewing two pieces of vellum together.

I added a pocket for extra "list" print outs - since I use these all the time to make my grocery lists. Made with a cute mushroom paper from Fairground Card Kit. Thanks for the fun challenge! :)
