Product Spotlight | Transparency Shapes

The large, colorful transparency shapes in the "Starlight" Scrapbook Kit are a great addition to any layout! Whether it's the main focal point or simply a piece of the overall design, the transparency shapes will add a bold pop of color to your next project. Check out all the ways the Creative Team is using transparency shapes in their projects this month.

Nancy used all her transparency shapes to create the stunning background for her layout, Rainbow Years. By grouping different colors around the page with like-colored asterisk and buttons, she was able to create order in this bold and colorful backdrop.

In her layout, Kinsley's Faves... Maggie balanced the color on her page by having the star transparency shapes peek out from behind her photos and journaling. They make great additions to her page.

Guest designer, Natalie, used the purple ampersand transparency shape to create a title on her layout, Crazy and Chaotic. It's complemented perfectly by the embellishment cluster in the upper left-hand corner of her page featuring the yellow star transparency shape.

Jen used her transparency shapes to partially frame the photo on her layout, Meetup! Similar to Nancy's page, Jen also clustered like-colored embellishments around each shape. Three of the transparency shapes on her page make great homes for her journaling strips!

On her layout, FaveMandie featured the red heart transparency shape under her sentiment "oh happy day." It also serves as a perfect pop of contrasting color on her mostly blue and yellow spread!

Anna-Maria showcased the purple ampersand transparency shape in an embellishment cluster near the photo on her layout, New Hair [main kit only project]. By standing out as a bold color on this page, the transparency shape helps to draw the viewer's eye towards the center of her page and the photo.

Kelly used multiple transparency shapes to create a rainbow of color down the right side of the page in her layout, Sweet Boy. The bold colors are perfectly offset by plenty of white space and two black and white photos.

There's so much you can do with the transparency shapes in the "Starlight" Scrapbook Kit. What do you plan on doing with yours? Post your creations in the gallery and add a link in the comments. We can't wait to see what you'll make!

Love the rainbow of diecuts used together with a B&W pic = perfection! And I love how Anna -Maria used the negative of the sticker letters. I've never tried that but now definitely will ?
