weekly challenge | April Foster and Lisa Truesdell

Happy Monday, everyone! It's Lisa Truesdell, and April Foster and I are here with this week's challenge. April and I love to break out the stamps when we're working on our kit projects, but we both favor one color - BLACK. When you think about the rainbow of ink colors available, it's kind of silly that we both stick to something so basic. For this challenge, we want you to dig into your ink stash and use those anything but basic colors.

April used a range of warm colored inks on her card - they pop off her white background :

Supplies : kit -  Marks & CO card kit

And I used two shades of aqua ink on an aqua background for a more subtle tone on tone effect :

Supplies : kit - Marks & CO scrapbook kit; printables - Hello Forever; ink - Hero Arts Tide Pool & Soft Pool; other - Tiny Attacher & watercolor papers

It's time to think ROY G BIV and use an anything but neutral ink color! Share your new project for this challenge in the SC gallery, then link up your project here in this post by August 19th to be entered to win a $5 GC to the Studio Calico Shop!

Great challenge! I'm always using black or brown. This time I went with a deep navy blue. Here's my take: http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/96337-sideboard
