you've got mail | Maile Belles

Hi there everyone!  It’s Maile here with a fun You’ve Got Mail project feature!  I’ve cooked up a fun coordinating card and envelope ensemble to share with you today.  What could be more fun than receiving a heartfelt handmade card?  A handmade card and matching envelope of course!  Take a look…

First up, a little about the card!  Using supplies from the Thataway collection I created a fun grouping of items to embellish the die cut hello message. 

Now here is where the coordination comes into play.  To the bottom of the card, I created a funky edge using four different colored pattern papers.  I took this same element and applied it to the corner of a simple white envelope. 

So don’t forget to dress up those envelopes next time you hand out a special little note.  It’s as simple as choosing one element from the card and copying it.  I hope you’ve enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!
