weekly challenge | Ali Edwards

The weekly challenge this week is to combine free-hand drawing around an element. This could be on a photo in Project LIfe, on a card or on a layout.

I used this technique in my Project Life spread for Week 35 (as seen in the Antiquary gallery). I cut out various tags and used a Slick Writer to draw around the outside and added a word to each shape. It's a simple and easy way to add a hand-drawn element (perfectly imperfect) to your projects.

(Supply list : Antiquary Project Life kit)

I can't wait to see your take on this challenge! Share your new project for this challenge in the SC gallery, then link up your project here in this post by October 21st to be entered to win a $5 GC to the Studio Calico Shop!

I very rarely doodle or draw on my page, but you make it look so pretty, Ali, I wanted to try it!! I decided to doodle around the cut out tags from the PL kit this month. SInce they were on a black background, I used a white gel pen! It worked perfectly and I love the look! http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/100123-all-about-me
