weekly challenge | Sasha Farina
Tags:Something Old Something New - and no, I'm not planning a wedding! :) I'm so excited to be hosting the weekly challenge this week. I thought we'd take a break from my trademark scrap recipe challenge, and try something different but just as fun!
Go and do some digging, I assure you I had the most fun while going through the stuff that I have to choose what I would use on this layout. Kit leftovers are perfect for this challenge - I knew there was a reason I kept that negative piece from the cork die cut! :)

(supplies : patterned paper - Studio Calico HeyDay, Sundrifter Sunny Day & Wildflower, Atlantic Portsmouth & Vellum; letter stickers - Here and There Chip Thickers; Studio Calico Darling Dear Kraft Calendar pocket; Studio Calico Die Cut Vellum Polaroid Frame ; Die Cut - Sundrifter Cardstock die cuts; Stickers : Sundrifter Cardstock Stickers, Atlantic Cork Stickers & Glitter Stickers; Cork square with circles - Salinger Add On ; Cork Alphabets : Woolf Add On; Cork Asterisks - Winona Add On; Alphabet Stamps - Double Scoop Project Life Kit, This Was Amazing stamp : July 2013 Stamp Add on; Metal badge - Here and There; Spray mist - Mister Huey Opaque White; other - neon sequins, brads, pearls)
Something old - that would be the Map sticker underneath the kraft calendar pocket. That was from Studio Calico Anthology! Anyone still remember that? :)

Love your happy, colorful page Sasha!
Thanks for the fun challenge!
I used an old pink paper from American Crafts, and an old blue-green paper from Fancy Pants Designs along with newer items on this layout.

This card is a mix from a few kits, past and present. It was fun digging through the kits to find just the right element.

Love the way the vellum polaroid frames from the Sundrifter collection work with this month's kits. I also threw in a square doily from Freckled Fawn.

Great challenge, Sasha!
I got frustrated with some old rub-ons in my stash the other day, they were just too old to work right, so I was inspired to use up some old rub-ons that DO still work, ha!
Found some really old card bases, too.

Remember this fibery paper that was trendy a looong time (10 yrs?) ago?
I gave it a try, along with more rub-ons.

Those OA cars are ooold, and I never found a place for them.
This one makes a card in 5 minutes :)
