Yesterday, we gave you a peek into the workspaces of our Creative Team Members as they work on their December Daily™. Today, we've got a closer look into two of their albums!
Kelly Noel : This is my 3rd year attempting a December Daily™ album, but this will be THE year I actually complete one! It's our baby's first Christmas, so it'll definitely be a special one to document. I wanted to keep the outside of the album simple. Since I plan to display my album and have it be flipped through year after year, I didn't want to add too much fuss to the cover. I used an embossing pen to color in some of the stars on the cover and then embossed them with gold glitter embossing powder. I love the effect! I painted the ""25" wood veneer and adhered it to the front with foam adhesive and added the "twenty thirteen" chipboard piece to finish it off.
My album isn't "daily", but rather a collection of our holiday moments throughout the month. I used a large bokeh photo of our tree because it's just so pretty and balances the busier page on the left so well. I added a note that our elf left for the boys (funny how he sized it perfectly to fit into a 3x4 pocket ;) which I think will be fun for them to look back on. My 6-year old wrote a note to our elf asking him if they were on the nice list, so I definitely wanted to include that. I added a small strip of that thin washi to the left side of the note and added some journaling and a tab that I had leftover from last year's SC DD kit.
Celine Navarro : From the last couple of years, I've always purchased my December Daily™ kit from Studio Calico. Not only because it's big and gorgeous, but it has everything I need to complete my album : papers, embellishments, stamps, ribbons, masking tape and more. And the box makes it so easy to store! I simply put my album and my box on a shelf and get back to it whenever I need to work on my album :) Here's a look at what I've made so far!
