Paper Sushi + Studio Calico

We love mixing things up by colloborating with artists from all over to bring new and inspiring designs to our kits. This month, we asked the artist at Paper Sushi to create an exclusive stamp set for our card add-on, Spaulding Bowl.
Jen from Paper Sushi says : Books are one of our favorite things, here at Paper Sushi! I had a lot of fun designing a book themed card set for Studio Calico. I hope you have just as much fun creating cards and happy mail for your favorite book lovers!
We asked Alicia from Paper Sushi to make a couple of cards with the kit -
For the birthday card, I stamped the books in white ink, and that helped me see where to add shading and color variations. Once it was dry, I stamped over it in the same place with black ink - the acrylic block made it easy to see that I would stamp it in the right place.
For the notecard, I stamped white watercolor paper with white ink, and then painted watercolor over it. Once it was dry, I stamped "just a note" in black ink and added the embellishments.

As a bibliophile this collection just screams my name!!!! I read on average 5 books a week. I read each of the Harry Potter books in a day. I would absolutely love to win this collection since I am on a spending freeze at this time. Thank you for the chance to own this even if I can't buy it!!! All bibliphobes need to open a book and go on the many journeys they can take you on!!!
