Allison Waken | Handbook
I have a Handbook album that highlights fun road trips that we take throughout the year. Any of these techniques can be used on 12x12, 6x8 or any sized spreads in between. A stitched map is a fun way to not only highlight a road trip route but could be used to show your daily commute, a move or the route to your favorite store! I'm also showing you how I include extra journaling and digital stamps in my spreads.
Supplies: Studio Calico Copper Mountain Project Life Kit (cards, clip, rub on), Studio Calico Copper Mountain Project Life Kit Digital Stamps, Studio Calico Storm King Add On (Geo tag rub ons, cork house), Studio Calico Union Meadows Add On Kit (washi, chipboard stickers), Tim Holtz tiny attacher
I love that stitching on the route! There haven't been so many things going on around here this week, so I think I'd use this idea and include my commuting route in my spread this week. Thank you for the inspiration!

I know there's already several comments about it, but stitching the route is GENIUS.

Thanks for the idea of stitching on the map. We have to take two day road trips (stupid huge Texas) to get anywhere good for camping. I spend quite a bit of time figuring out our route. I've never thought of including a map in my albums.
