LOTW I Kimmi

Our Layout of the Week, 2014 Title Page, comes from our member Kimmi, username kimmithylaine. Her Project Life™ title page is gorgeous and we love all of the little details, like the sequin filled pocket and Kimmi's beautiful handwritten year card. We're very happy to see Kimmi back in our community after taking a break from scrapping! You don't want to miss her gallery! To keep up with Kimmi's work, follow her here at SC or stop by her blog.

Here's what Kimmi has to say about her project:

I decided to jump back into scrapping this year, starting with Project Life. I decided to try go simpler and I loved the idea of having multiple sizes and shapes of pockets, as well as filling some of the clear pockets with embellishments. Here, I created my simple title page, using two 4x4 photos that were taken at Christmas. I added a green patterned 3x4 card that I stamped “its gonna be great” with the roller stamp included in the Double Scoop kit. I also hand wrote “twenty fourteen” on a blank white piece of scrap photo paper, then filled the remaining pockets with bits and pieces that I’ve collected over time. I am so happy to be back doing one of the things I really love and so honored to be featured!

Congratulations Kimmi!! More members added this project to their inspiration books for the week of 1.7 - 1.13 than any other, making it our layout of the week! You have won a $10 gift card to be used on any new purchase at Studio Calico.

Want a chance to win next week? We love our creative community, and invite you to be a part of it. Share your work in the Studio Calico member gallery, and don't forget to take the time to add your favorites to your own inspiration book.
