Office Hours | Two Page Layouts
Tags:Sometimes a story is just too big for a layout. Whether you want to include multiple photos, a long story or just need more space to try a new technique, sometimes a two page layout is the way to go. We've enlisted a handful of our Creative Team members to take on the challenge of making more two page layouts this year - be sure to follow them for more inspiration!

Maggie Holmes : I used this layout as an opportunity to play around with misting and punches with the idea that I would create more of an artsy page for the left side. Once I got it all finished I decided to not even put any photos on there because I didn't want to cover it all up! I love how it came together!

Maggie Massey : I wanted to scrap all of these photos of my kids fishing on the same project, but one page just wasn't going to cut it. So I made two! Because of the awesome variety in the Office Hours kits I was able to make a cohesive double layout without having the pages look too matchy-matchy.

Natalie Elphinstone : I'm a big believer in including journaling on your layouts. Sometimes it's only a sentence or two, and sometimes it's a whole big story. When I know I've got a LOT to say, a double-page layout is the best option. I keep it simple... put your photos on one side, and leave the title and journaling for the other side! I like that each page could be viewed as an independent layout, but they still fit together to form a cohesive spread in my album.

Tina Aszmus : This was a fun one for me. I pulled the colors from the Ninja Turtle in the small photo. I think it helps bring focus to the message I'm trying to convey in this 2 page layout. Because I'm using 2 different pieces of patterned paper, I like tie them together by adding in the opposite color on each page.
This month's guest designer, Pam Baldwin, is a bit of a two page superstar. Here's a look at the three beautiful two page layouts you can find in her guest gallery!

I've only made three twopagers ever. Two of them for challenges here at SC! The third one I made just a few days ago. I think the CT twopagers of late have inspired me. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/116650-good-things-march-2014
