Sunday Sketch | Aga

This week, our layout sketch is a 12x12 layout with strips of patterned paper and a 4x6 photo in the center. Our card sketch features a fun starburst element & our Project Life sketch uses a simple banner, photo and journaling. Ilove using sketches as the starting point or when I need some direction for my cards. I love that I can follow them exactly or just use as an inspiration. This time I followed the card sketch pretty straight forward but I decided to turn it 90 degrees and to change a proportion of the layout. To create my rays I used a watercolour technique using Color Theory ink pads. I added a sentiment from the stamp set that comes with the Bluegrass Farm card kit and to finish it off I used a trio of paper sequins created with sequin dies. The tiny confetti dots are leftovers from the die cuts and I just love using them too!
