LOTW | Janine

Our Layout of the Week, Laugh, comes from our member Janine (username JanineLanger). Janine's mix of product and colors, her adorable photo and die cut details made her page shine in our gallery. I love that picture on the layout, when I took it I immediately knew that I had to scrap about it. We were looking for the tigers and my son talked to his dad, suddenly he had a major laugh attack and didn't even notice that I took this picture. I am so in love with his laughter. :)

When I printed the picture a grid layout came into my mind. I also knew I wanted the layout to be colorful and joyful. But I had the feeling there was something missing at the bottom. Then I remembered the banner cut files I saw at Studio Calico's. I downloaded them, cut it with my Silhouette, added some patterned paper and stitching. I really like the result, it shows joy and fun and most importantly I wrote down the story for my kid. :)
