Weekly Challenge | Collage with Stephanie

This week, our member Stephanie (username stephaniebryan), is challenging you to create a collage on your next project. We're excited to turn our weekly challenges over to the SC community! Check in each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Creating a collage of memories is one of my favorite ways to record our moments. I love catching a glimpse of our lives on one page or one photo. For this layout, I fell in love with Wilna’s free cut file “You Color My Life Beautiful” and knew I wanted to use a collage of photos with a large title. I started my layout by adding a few watercolors using a wet-on-wet technique to my white background. Then I created six 4x4 inch collage photos in Picmonkey and added them to the left side of my layout. I adhered my large title using pop dots along side my photo, slightly overlapping the photos and watercolors. I finished with a few small embellishment clusters and some simple journaling. Although many of these memories have been used on a traditional layout, I love having them all in one place. It’s a wonderful reminder of all that I have and all that I am thankful for!!

Keeping with the collage theme, my challenge for you is to use some type of collage on your project! I highly recommend Picmonkey (a free online collage program) for creating collages if you do not have access to Photoshop or another photo editing program!
