Penny Arcade Card Kit

Now stamping is always a great way to jazz up an envelope. So for the front of the envelope I decided to mimic the design of my card and lightly misted it then stamp a "sprinkle" of circles to create a confetti effect.

But I wanted more of a wow factor for the recipient so I decide to also dress up the inside. To do this I took some scrap of patterned paper that I had from my kit and cut them to fit inside a standard A2 envelope. For this particular envelope I trimmed the cloud paper to 5x5 (inches) then attached it to another piece of patterned paper that measured 1x5 (inches). When attaching the pieces together I made sure the it measured just under 5 1/4 (inches) across so that it would easily, but snuggly slip inside. I then matched up the top of the paper with the top of the flap then trimmed the sides so they were the same as the flap. Then all you have to do is glue the paper to the inside of the envelope flap.

When it is time to seal the envolope and send it off to some one special I like to use a little bit of liquid glue. Just enough to close it but not so much that it is hard to open. A two way glue pen is great for this.
