Brighton Pier Inspiration

Have you had a chance to use our Brighton Pier collection? Here are pages from Kelly Noel, Maggie Massey and Geralyn Sy to give you a little inspiration!

Geralyn Sy : Brighton Pier had so many fun patterns and elements that I thought were perfect for a layout about my niece. I cut out bits and pieces to create an imperfect grid, and I used the beautiful silver alphas for the title.

Supplies : Brighton Pier: patterned paper - Kissing Booth, Swan Boats, Blue Ridge, Pear-i-scope, Sparks & Fire, Up & Away; stickers - Tiny Type; rub-ons - Silver Stars; wood veneer - Phrases; alphas - Buckaroo Silver; other - washi tape, banner

Maggie Massey : I love this photo of my daughter on the beach, and I thought it would look perfect embellished with Brighton Pier. The Script Transparency is one of my favorite pieces in the collection, and because I wanted to keep the page bright and happy, I decided to layer it over a piece of plain white cardstock. The look that resulted was a little too formal for me, so I quickly brushed some Mr. Huey's on the cardstock to create a bright background. I love the way the transparency looks over the color...so pretty. I painted the wood veneer word "today" with Mr. Huey's and filled in the words on the wood veneer phrase with a black pen. Because the Tiny Type stickers were the wrong shade of pink for my layout, I colored over them lightly with a watered-down version of the Mr. Huey's I used on the "today" piece. I did the same with a piece of cardstock I cut after tracing using the little banner mask as a stencil. The little die-cut pear added just the right amount of fun.

Supplies : Brighton Pier Collection - Script Transparency; Patterned Paper - Pear-I-Scope; Assorted Huey's Masks - banner; Tiny Type Stickers, Wood Veneer Phrases, Wood Veneer Words, Buckaroo Gold Thickers; Craft Die & Stamp Set - Churros; Mister Huey's Mists; Other - White Cardstock

Kelly Noel : I love the fun patterns in the Brighton Pier collection and knew right away I wanted to use them with these silly photos of my niece, Cassidy. I used my Cameo to cut the stars from the background and then just used pieces of patterned paper to back the stars. Adding detail with a black journaling pen made the stars stand out a little better and I added a few mist splatters to finish it off.

Supplies : Brighton Pier Patterned Paper - Kissing Booth, Blue Ridge, Banana Stand, Wonder Wheel, Sparks & Fire, Up & Away; Thickers - Buckaroo Gold; veneer - Brighton Pier Wood Veneer Words; stickers - Brighton Pier Tiny Type Stickers

These are all great projects, thanks so much for sharing. I really love Geralyn's mix of patterned papers, Maggie's Mr. Huey behind the transparency, and Kelly's stars...why don't I use stars more? Great job ladies!

I love the Brighton Pier collection and will continue playing with it for awhile...I have only linked up two projects so far that use elements from Brighton Pier, but I have a few more around here too.
