Silkscreen Video Tutorial | Natalie Elphinstone

I love that Studio Calico continues to surprise us with new and exclusive goodies every single reveal, and this month was no exception. The Silkscreen in the Whitman Add On is certainly unique, and I imagine it's the first time that any of have seen a product like this in a Scrapbook Kit. In fact, perhaps it's the first time many of us have ever seen a product like this... period! So today I wanted to share my excitement with you at just how simple and versatile the Silkscreen is.

The Whitman Add On also comes with a tube of the Color Theory Orange County Acrylic Paint and this is a great medium to start using with your Silkscreen. I used it to transform one of the plain calico bags your embellishments often get shipped in, into a quick and simple gift bag. But don't stop there!

Do you know you can also use inks, sprays, embossing powder, glitter, waterpaints and any other wet medium you can think of with your Silkscreen? Let me show you how easy it is in my video today! I'd love to hear what other techniques you may have come up with as well... the possibilities really are limitless!

Supplies : Whitman Add on; Color Theory Acrylic Paint; Color Theory Ink Pads; Mister Huey's Color Mists; Zing! Embossing Powders; Glitter

Do you think I could also use it for embossing (with Versamark and embossingpowder)?

I tried that too @Esk (it just didn't make the cut on the video!) but see in the third photo the pink triangle at the top? That's Versamark and embossing powder. Lisa's layout with the gold triangle is also embossing powder. So the answer is definitely yes!!
