Sunday Sketch | Chari

This week, our layout sketch is an 12x12 layout with a grouping of layered tags and one small photo. Our card sketch features a vertical design and our Project Life sketch uses four small photos with room for journaling . The main design elements of this sketch are the vertical lines. I recreated those vertical elements with strips of pattern paper and also used the direction of the woodgrain paper to emphasize this vertical aspect as well. For a little more variation I white embossed the leaves on the plaid paper. For the sentiment I decided to change it up a bit and make the sentiment my focal image rather than an element that criss crosses the vertical stripes.
