This week, our layout sketch is a 12x12 layout with two small overlapping photos. Our card sketch features a trio of labels and our Project Life sketch uses a 3x4 photo with journaling and small stickers. Contributor, Stephanie Baxter, is joining us this week & sharing her take on our Project Life sketch! Be sure to follow Stephanie here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.
First, let's look at this week's sketches - our 12x12 sketch comes from Kelly Noel's Sweet Lil' Pumpkin layout:
Our card sketch comes from Robyn Werlich's Nuts About You! card:
And our Project Life sketch comes from Leena Loh's Week 40 spread:
And here's Steph's take on our Project Life sketch:
As soon as I saw this week's Project Life sketch, I knew that the Mad Libs card and stamp set that was sold with the kits this month would work perfectly! I wanted to create a simple but special Christmas card for my niece as this is her first ever Christmas, so I printed out a 3x4 photo of myself on a 4x6 canvas, adhered one of the Mad Libs cards to the blank half of the photo paper, stamped the sentiments in the blank spaces on the card and then adhered a few gold elements to make it a bit more Christmassy!
