Card + Envelope | Jenn Picard

I found this cool print and was immediately drawn to the fun geometric shape and unexpected color combination. The more I searched, the more fun I had dreaming up different combinations and ways to use the pineapple image.
One technique that I absolutely love using with line art images is paper piecing. This is also a great way to use up those little scraps of patterned paper that you just can't get rid of.
Just by stamping the image on patterned paper and cutting it out you can create a very fun, simple yet impactful card.
I kept the cards very simple so that the pineapple image is the main focus but to give a little more dimension I added foam dots to the image and also the main white panel so it is raised up from the card base.

so cute! I love how you took that pinterest inspiration and turned it into a card - so pretty. I've never stamped on patterned paper...I always stamp on white card stock but I love the look....off to play.
