Sunday Sketch | Keisha
This week, our layout sketch is an 8.5x11 layout with bold title work and one horizontal photo. Our card sketch features a watercolor background and repeated sentiment and our Project Life sketch uses a 3x4 photo and tag. Creative Team member, Keisha Campbell, is joining us this week & sharing her take on our scrapbook sketch! Be sure to follow Keisha here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.
Our 12x12 layout sketch comes from Celine Navarro's A Sister layout:
Our card sketch comes from Lisa Spangler's hey! hey! card:
Our Project Life sketch comes from Marcy Penner's November 12-25 spread:
And here's Keisha's take on this week's sketches:
I took a bit of inspiration from all three CT projects. I always love a chance to use a tag-I took that inspiration from Marcy's page. I loved the beautifully colored background from Lisa's card and used idea that to do my card's background. Then Celine had the cool lettering for her layout which gave me the idea to add the black letters for the word 'love' on my card. I like the way the card ended up with a awesome pop art feel!
Supplies: Ink - Glass Slipper, Poppy, Lemon Zest, Going Green; Cardstock - More White, Stamp - Diamond Stamp Set
Now it's your turn! Make a project using one of this week's sketches as a starting point, then share it in the Studio Calico gallery. Use the hashtag #SCsketch to make it easier for other members to find! Leave us a link to your project by March 2nd in the comments here to be entered to win a $5 GC to the Studio Calico Shop. This week's sketch winner will be announced in the March 7th Layout of the Week post.
