Our Layout of the Week, Love, comes from our member Magdalena (username Rockermorsan). Magdalena's beautiful double page layout caught everyone's eye in the member gallery with its picture collage and slanted title and paper strips. To keep up with Magdalena and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC!
I really like making monthly review layouts , and I do them quite often. It's fun to come up with different ways of adding multiple photos to a layout. This layout was made for the weekly sketch challenge, based on a layout by April Foster. The Sandlot kit was already out on my scrap table, and I added the Cirque kit too. They went really well together! The large black alphas were my favorite, so not many of them remained. I used my scissors to turn the letters L, A and B into the word LOVE, with the help of a diecut. The journaling is printed on a piece of vellum. I decided to put my photos on a second page. Most of them are sized to 3x4", some are a little smaller. To match up the photos to the papers I changed some of the photos to black and white. Thank you so much for liking my layout!
