Our Layout of the Week, First Hike, comes from our member Evelyn (username EvelynLaFleur). Evelyn's simple, but beautiful layout caught everyone's eye in the member gallery with its rows of photos, bold title and typed text. When I created this layout I decided that I would like to keep it clean and simple and with a lot of white space. I wanted to scrap multiple photos from our first longer hike a few weeks ago and wanted to focus on them. I did the journaling with my printer and I love how it turned out together with the bigger alphas in the title. Then I only added a little bit of gold and some embellishments which I thought would perfectly fit to the nature theme of my layout.

Definitely going to save this in my inspiration folder. So glad SC features these because half the time I miss them in the gallery. It would be nice if they also had a runner-up recap. They don't need to write about each one, Just a top ten photo gallery would do.
