Sunday Sketch | Aga Malyszek

This week, our layout sketch is a 12x12 layout with diagonal rows of patterned papers and pretty palm trees . Our card sketch features a stacked paper layers and a center sentiment, and our Project Life® sketch uses two 3x4 pockets with photos and journaling. Get creative and be sure to share your projects here with us! We can't wait to see what you create! Creative Team member Aga Malyszek is joining us this week and sharing her take on the card sketch! Be sure to follow Aga here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.

Our layout sketch comes from Brooke Takara's Summer Girls layout:

Our card sketch comes from Dana Fleckenstein's Happy card:

Our Project Life® sketch comes from Celine Navarro's spread:

Hello everyone! It’s Aga here and for my card today, I decided to use the scrapbook sketch as my inspiration. Such a great layout by Brook, I love how she used different pieces of patterned papers and I decided to incorporate this idea on my card.

I started by adding black splatters to the background then I placed rectangle scraps of various patterned papers from the Pop Art Card Kit. To finish my card off I added a sentiment made with the alpha dies, cut out of watercoloured cardstock and covered with Glossy Accents.

Supplies: Pop Art Card Kit (patterned paper), Color Theory Ink Pad (Inky Black), Blackout Alpha Craft Dies, Mister Huey's Watercolor Set, Zig Watercolor Brush, Glossy Accents

I used the layout sketch as my inspiration for this scrapbook page. It was a great opportunity to use several photos placed on a diagonal.
