Weekly Challenge | Digital Stamp

This week, our member Victoria (iriscristata), wants you to go digital! Victoria is challenging her fellow members to use a digital stamp in their projects. Our members are so talented and we love seeing your work in the gallery! Check back each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Be sure visit iriscristata to see more of her work and keep up with her.

Every month, I look forward to the digital stamps being released in the shop. For this layout, I printed the Cream Soda digital stamp onto my 12x12 background. Then, I cut papers from the 4x6 paper pad to create the different books. Being able to resize the digital stamps is a huge bonus because I can always have the size I need for a layout or a card. I used the Silhouette Software with the .png stamp image for resizing and printing. I can create a layout design in the software and know exactly what size everything needs to be before I start printing and cutting. Right now, Peppermint Granberg is enrolling in her Digi Time class in which she will show you how to use digital elements in your layouts including digital stamps, templates and printables. My challenge for you is to use a digital stamp image to create a layout, card or Project Life® card.

Now it’s your turn to create a project based on Michelle's challenge! Share your new project for the challenge in the Studio Calico gallery (add the hashtag #SCchallenge to make it easier to find!), then link up your project in the comments of this post by September 7th to be entered to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop! This week's challenge winner will be announced in the September 11th Layout of the Week post.

I will never pass up a challenge, Victoria. This was a toughy.
I don't have many stamp brushes, but I did have this one from Penny Arcade.
I used my silhouette to erase and resize the states then printed on 8 1/2 x 11.
I painted the states using markers and a water brush.

I am looking forward to the digi class too, expect it will take me out of my comfort zone.

Ditto what @CeliseMcL said! I hate to pass up a challenge, but I own ZERO digital stamps. And I keep spending money on paper products! So I got a free stamp from the internet and colored it in and embellished it. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/173341-popcorn-strings-christmas-card

I love digital! I added 2 digital stamps (one from Odyssey and the other from Copper Mountain) on my photo.
