Weekly Challenge | CeliseMcL
This week, our member Celise (CeliseMcL), wants you to use cut files in your layouts! In her layout below, she used elements from the Pop Art Scrapbook kit and Brimfield cut files. Our members are so talented and we love seeing your work in the gallery! Check back each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Be sure to visit Celise to see more of her work and keep up with her.

Now it’s your turn to create a project based on Celise's challenge! Share your new project for the challenge in the Studio Calico gallery (add the hashtag #SCchallenge to make it easier to find!), then link up your project in the comments of this post by September 21st to be entered to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop! This week's challenge winner will be announced in the September 26th Layout of the Week post.

Love the effect of the color beneath the black. So stunning. Nice work @CeliseMcL

I don't use digital cut files, but I still wanted to play! So I just used a manual die cut but still put patterned paper behind the negative. Celise's layout made me think of a paper I had with a bird on it. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/174045-little-birdie-birthday-card
