Adding Personal Touches to Mixbook Holiday Photo Cards with Kelly Noel
Hello Studio Calico friends! We have teamed up with Mixbook for a line of exclusive holiday photo cards and matching address labels.
I love the holidays and I love to send out photo cards each year to my friends and family! I'm always looking for new card designs to use with my photos and as a photographer, to recommend to my clients. Mixbook has moved to the top of my favorites list, for sure!
Mixbook was kind enough to send me a few samples and I thought it would be fun to dive into my stash and add a few of my own details to the cards. The cards are GORGEOUS just as they come, but if you're looking for a way to personalize them even more, embellishing them is a great option!
All of these ideas were extremely simple to do and would be a cinch to reproduce on a whole stack of cards. For the card on the right, I added a simple strip of washi where the photo intersects with the design. On the left, I added a tiny heart embellishment.

On these cards, I added some twine and a scattering of enamel dots for some added interest.

I plan to use the card tied with twine on top of a package for Sawyer's preschool teachers. It makes the perfect gift topper!

These cards had more of a woodsy with a touch of glam feel combined with my photo, so I used some tiny wood veneer stars and a portion of a gold doily to embellish them.

This card design was one of my very favorites! I love the gorgeous white script sentiment. The simplicity was perfect, so I just added a handful of star and gold sequins to embellish.

Matching address labels add a nice matching detail to the envelope and on this card I added just a single wood veneer Christmas tree embellishment. I love the way it looks!

Adding a few embellishments to pre-made photo cards makes sending holiday wishes to your loved ones simple and easy!
Don't miss out!

Very cute! Can I ask what the other side of the card looks like? Is it plain or have their branding on it?
