Member Design Challenge Winners Announced!
After a lot of deliberation in picking a winner for the Studio Calico Member Design Challenge from the top 10, we have chosen not ONE, but TWO winners! We had a great turnout of participants and were happy to see great community and conversation between one another in the challenge. We enjoyed looking at each and every design and hope you'll join us for our next one! Below, are the winning designs, which will be featured in TBD upcoming kits. Each designer also receives a $50 gift card to the Shop. Be sure to congratulate each in the comments below!

Look, I don't mean to be offensive or resentful. But didn't the rules of the contest clearly say that "submissions must be a new original work created by the entrant for the purposes of the contest"? Then why did Little Lamm's design win which is being sold since September (!) in her own shop and clearly wasn't designed for this contest?
It's definitely a great design and like I said this is not about resentment. But it is just not fair towards others who entered the contest and actually sat down and spent hours making unique designs for this contest instead of just uploading something they already made anyway.

If submitting old designs would have been allowed, I, like probably some others, would maybe have found the time to participate.

I don't get why SC is bothering with rules when they don't plan to follow them.
One or two winners, original design created for the competition or an already published one (that I really like!)...
I wouldn't have participated anyway but I just don't get it.
