Tutorial: Using the Homespun Planner Kit with Cathy Vongnaraj

Happy Spring, guys! It's Cathy here with a super easy way to set up your weekly planner using the Homespun Main Planner Kit, Add-On Patch, and some planner essentials I always fall back on:

- Gray Area Color Theory Ink
- Staedtler Triplus Fineliner
- Any number stamp - I used ABM's and Kelly Purkey's alpha stamps (you can also use SC's Bennett stamp)
- circle punch (1 inch)

Watch the video and follow along:
1) Draw your lines - doesn't need to be perfect!
2) Stamp your dates
3) Stamp To-Do vertically
4) Draw 7 lines 1/4 inch apart (or whatever, depending on your own handwriting's font size)
5) More lines!
6) Highlight your shadows using the Frixion pen
7) Add your green list flag
8) Punch out the circle scraps - use those scraps! Don't throw them way!
9) PLAN YOUR WEEK!
10) ... lastly, embellish :)

*Bonus* that Frixion pen also works as ink ;)

Have an awesome week everyone!

Love your video. I also enjoyed seeing how you use the different stickers that come in the planner kit. Curious about your use of the weather stamp. Did you use the weather stamped words to accurately describe the actual weather conditions for those specific days or did you use them more as decorative elements? Thanks for sharing. I really love how your pages turned out!

Hi @FChopp - that week was a actually a pretty gloomy week - and I just pulled the weather app to forecast my tasks that week - ex: if it was rainy that day, I pushed a car wash to a sunny day! :)

I love your big stamped dates! I don't know why I've been forcing all my dates to fit in those tiny circles.
