My starting point for this layout was a video my son shared with me on Google Drive. I pulled three stills from the video to create a sequence for the action. The Film Club kits were perfect with the lightning motif, cork phrase, and Kraft cardstock. I cut a strip of the label patterned paper and stamped a word in each label which added a touch of bold color. I typed my journaling on my typewriter, stitched the accent along the bottom, and added the cork phrase as the finishing touch. Although my first impression of this phrase was about fashion, I reinterpreted it when I was struggling to come up with a title for this project. I love the way the Studio Calico kits challenge me to stretch my design skills and creativity. Thank you, Studio Calico community, for appreciating my layout!
