Tutorial: Using the Jolly Holiday Scrapbook Kit with Anna-Maria Wolniak

I grabbed my favourite shades from the main scrapbook kit and mixed them with Color Theory acrylic paint and printables.

I used a piece of plastic as a palette, and I mixed there three shades of blue acrylic paint using a palette knife.

I used white cardstock as a background, and I applied the mix of blue paint on it with two simple swipes across the base.

Using the backing from a stamp package, I created a white layer under my photo for contrast.

Next, I added other layers made with green cardboard and a flower transparency.

I cut out two words from the printable journal cards.

Next, I created a journaling area using a sticker and printable elements.

I stuck one of the printable words to my page with dimensional foam.

I added some journaling and and few stamps, and my layout is ready! It has a delicate mixed-media feeling combined with a clean and simple idea. It would also work well with a rectangular background.

Have fun with the Jolly Holiday scrapbook kit!
