Sunday Sketch | Kelly Noel

This week, our scrapbook sketch is a 9x12 layout with three photos that really pop. Our card sketch features a bold, bursting background and large sentiment, and our pocket page sketch uses a 3x4 photo and a lightly embellished 4x6 title card with journaling. Creative Team member Kelly Noel is joining us this week and sharing how our card sketch translated into a 12x12 layout! I always love working with sketches. They're one of my favorite ways to scrap if I'm running low on ideas or mojo, and I love how quickly my layouts come together when I start with a sketch. For this layout, I was inspired by this week's card sketch. I was drawn to the burst background, and I knew I could recreate something similar on a layout. I cut some triangular pieces from various patterned papers to create the burst design and my photo takes center stage right in the middle. I love how the design draws your eye right into the photo!
