Our scrapbook layout sketch comes from Geralyn Sy's Go layout:

Our Documenter sketch comes from Kelsey McEvoy's 30th Birthday Beach Trip spread:

And our card sketch comes from Aga Malyszek's Thank You card:

And here's Lisa take on the scrapbook sketch:

Hey hey, and happy Sunday! I just love the weekly sketches, don't you? They always give me such great ideas, and this week is no exception. This time I used Geralyn's scrapbook sketch to make a card. I love how her layout has that split! Genius!

For my card, I stamped the 3x4 Thank You stamp by Jasmine Jones three times and heat embossed it with clear powder for extra dimension: once on the grid paper, once on the zig zag paper, and again on the card base. Then I cut the patterned paper pieces and adhered them to the card base with foam tape.

I used the MISTI stamping tool to help me with positioning, but it's not required. If you don't have a MISTI, you can get a similar look by cutting 2 pieces of paper plus a strip and then layering all three pieces to a piece of cardstock, then go ahead stamp on all three at once. If you do it this way, it will look better to keep all three pieces together.

After my stamping was done, it was just a matter of adding some splatters plus some sequins and enamel dots from my stash. This is a good way to use up little odds and ends!

Can't wait to see what you all make! Hope you have a great week! xo

Now it's your turn! Make a project using one of this week's sketches as a starting point, then share it in the Studio Calico gallery.
