Sunday Sketch | Cristina Canavesi
Tags:This week, our scrapbook sketch is a double page layout using two patterned papers and lots of round elements. Our card sketch draws the eye to the bottom of the project with a sentiment and an embellishment side by side, and our pocket page sketch uses a 4" x 6" photo and a 3" x 4" journaling card with a smaller photo. Creative Team contributor Cristina Canavesi is joining us this week and sharing her take on the week's scrapbook sketch! Be sure to follow Cristina here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.
Our scrapbook sketch comes from Anna-Maria Wolniak's Proud Dad layout:

Our card sketch comes from Dana Fleckenstein's Butterfly Birthday Card:

Our pocket page sketch comes from Mandie Pierce's Garden of the Gods spread:

And here's Cristina's take on our scrapbook sketch:

Hello! Cristina here with my take on this week's scrapbook sketch. After making my Documenter spreads, I was left with just a few cards from the Story Board kit, including the 4” x 6” card with the lips. I challenged myself to use it, and ended up cutting it up to make some of the circles in this sketch. The lips reminded me of people talking, and that inspired the story I wanted to tell on this page.

I added some plastic shapes from the July Pool Party Documenter kit, as well as various embellishments from this month’s kit. Everything I used is from Documenter kits, so you can see their versatility and how well they work for scrapbook pages, too.

The title is inspired by one of my favorite scenes in the movie Love Actually. :)

Supplies: Kits - Story Board Documenter Kit, Pool Party Documenter Kit; Ink - VersaCraft Ink Pad;

I used the layout sketch, compressing it to an 8.5x11 and using squares instead of circles: http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/196288-new-computer
