Video | Using the Sonnet Documenter kit with Carson Riutta

Hello, my Studio Calico friends! I’ve been busy this month playing, almost full-time, with the Sonnet kits. If that’s my busy, I guess I’m in pretty good shape! I really do love these kits - they are right up my creative alley with all the bright colors, the iridescent hearts, and the lovely word transparencies. So far with the Sonnet Documenter Kit plus a few minimal add-ons, I’ve been able to create three one-page spreads and one two-page spread for my Documenter album. Meanwhile, the supplies just keep on keeping on!

Today, I’ll be sharing my full process for putting together my most recent page with the kit. You’ll be able to see me create from start to finish, choosing pictures from my little man’s 3rd birthday, matching the cards to the photos, and taking forever to embellish the page just right. But don’t worry, I’ve sped the whole process up and played some nice music for you, and we’ll discuss all things design while you watch. Enjoy!

As you can see, the page came together pretty quickly, and with such gorgeous supplies and cute kiddo pics, you just can’t go wrong! If you enjoyed the video and want to get your hands on the kit, don’t forget to subscribe to the Documenter Workshop where you can see four more lessons like this one, but where I go into much more detail regarding design tips and tricks for memorykeeping with this pocket page format.

I’m looking forward to seeing all the beautiful pages you create once this kit is in your own very crafty and capable hands. So don’t be shy! Please share your Sonnet creations over in the member gallery when the magic happens. Until then, have a cozy and warm November, friends! Thanks so much for watching!
