Using the Roman Holiday Planner Kit with Carla de Taboada

Hello, everyone! My name is Carla de Taboada, and I'm so happy to be with you today sharing a weekly spread in my field notes size traveler's notebook, plus another DIY project for your ring planner, too! This month, I'm using my TN as my on-the-go planner. Here I write down quick reminders of the things I've planned for the week. 

I love that the sticky notes from the Roman Holiday Planner Kit fit perfectly in my column spaces! I added a list of some things I must do this week, and used some of the stamps from the add-on stamp sets to mark a few reminders as well. On the fold out flap, I've added my menu list, using the clear stickers to mark my days. And to decorate my pages, I've also cut out some little banners using the lovely patterned papers that came in the kit.  

I used an extra piece of solar white cardstock to make a reading list using that cute vellum sticker, and used my little star stamp from the Tooth Fairy stamp set to decorate my title.  

I love to play with the papers I receive in my planner kit, using them to create some fun planner supplies! This time, I made a page marker for my traveler's notebook inserts. I just cut it out using my trimmer, laminated it, and used my craft knife to trim it again. I added a golden heart sticker from the Sabrina add-on kit to embellish it a little bit. You can also add some little alphas to create a title like "week," "month," or "today" before you laminate it. Then, I created a little tie envelope using my floral paper, some baker twine, and my crop-a-dile.  

I used my paper scraps and a sticker to decorate the other side of the fold out flap, just for fun. I love my on-the-go planner to be pretty and functional too!  

Another project I made this month was a dashboard for my Studio Calico Planner. I couldn't resist using the lovely stamp set from this month's Stamp Subscription! I stamped my flowers using Flamingo and Coral Bay pigment ink pads, then I cut them out using my precision scissors. I used foam adhesive squares to add more dimension to my dashboard. I love this dashboard!
