Let's take a closer look at the February stamp subscription kit. Here I used the coffee cup to create a repeated background design for my layout. I started out with some Versafine ink and randomly stamped the image in a loose diagonal shape. I wanted it to look like it was raining coffee cups, with the diagonal shape giving my photo a great landing spot. I filled up each of the cups with some watercolors, smudging the edges on purpose for an eclectic look. It was easy to create this eye catching design with just a handful of stamps.

For your challenge, use any stamp to create a repeated background design. Bonus points if you fill them up with watercolors! When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See ALL of the crop challenges here.

I normally start at the beginning but today I felt adventurous so I jumped to #12 and I have enjoyed Nancy's workshop class this month and like her style. This layout was inspired by her background stamping. I used some very old flower stamps with the new spring stamp set and of course water color for extra credit. ;o)

I went hybrid after trying to physically stamp a background and having it all go horribly horribly wrong... SO, digital!

Stamped a background using the pencil from the stamp set "Word Search Valentine". I have also used watercolours, first time since I was a Little girl. Difficult but fun!

I love this challenge, so I just had to make another Project. Here I have used the "Veggie" stamp set to make a patterned paper to use as the title card of this documenter spread. I have also used watercolours.

I did another one for this challenge. Started by stamping all across the page with just the stamp and phrases. Once I was finished it needed color so stamped them all again on pattern paper and added over the plain stamped images leaving a few blank to give it a visual break and interest.

I stamped a background paper (Not a great stamper, I chose not to water color today) and then i cut it up to use in this pocket page layout from our Myrtle Beach Vacation. These photos from the pool aren't that great but I wanted to include them in the album.

I'm not much of a stamper so this way a big push to improve myself. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/200091-volcano-drinks

Girls and bows (Thank you Maggie Holmes!) are the perfect match for this challenge, handcolored with pencils...
