Crop Challenge | Hand Lettering with Morgan

Earlier this month, I gathered a list of my favorite go-to coffee orders from some of the best places to add to the front of my planner. Personally, I go crazy for some alphas but as the month goes on, I just use those things dry and finishing off some words can get more difficult. So here, I used the alphas to create half of the title and then used my own lettering to finish it off! (And then just go sticker and stamp happy on the rest of the page ;) )

My challenge to you is to incorporate both alpha stickers/stamps and your hand-lettering to create a title or quote on your planner pages. When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See ALL of the crop challenges here.

Morgan! I don't know if you were just traveling through or if you frequent Milk & Honey, but that's my town -- and my regular coffee place! I was just there yesterday!!! :) Next time, you should call me, ha! I'd faint if I met a real, live SC scrapbooker in my little town! So cool!!! Love your planner page/design.

AHH! That's so exciting! Kind of just the in-between of living there and passing through, haha. My boyfriend lives in Chattanooga so I'm down there intermittently visiting. Milk and Honey was a dreeeeeammmm, though. I can see how it could easily become a regular coffee place ;). And thank you so much!

This layout is a mix of stamped alphas from Carolina moon, rubber color theory alpha stickers and my own handwritten alphas using micron pen and Faber castell brush.
This was a difficult challenge because my handwriting days are days gone by.

This was scarier than stamping a title!

Here's my project for this challenge. I didn't have the stamp I wanted so I decided this would be the project to use for this challenge!

On this spread I tried some hand lettering and for the word 'crop' I used some tiny alpha stickers. It's a page in my bullet journal. I thought it would be fun to track the crop challenges in there. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/199965-crop-challenge-tracker

I have to admit, I didn't think I would attempt this one. I'm glad I did though, because even though I have a lot of practicing to do, I can see this being very helpful for future layouts. Thanks for the challenge!

I didn't think I would take part in this challenge as I don't like my handwriting, but then I thought why not give it a go.
I'm a nurse and at the start of every shift I make a TO DO/checklist for myself. I work in a busy ward where things can change rapidly so even though I keep most things in my head it's nice to have a list to dubblecheck that I haven't forgotten anything. I usually write it by hand but why not spruce it up a bit using stamps aswell as my handwriting.

Ok, I admit I was shitting bricks with this challenge (pardon my French) - so intimidating. And without fail I goofed up my title, then had to pretend I always write my "0"s to include an "e", lol.

Well never mind - just a hint to practise more, because it is actually a very lovely personal touch to various projects. Thank you Morgan!!
